We are committed to providing you notice about how Abundant Solar Power Corporation and our affiliate and subsidiary companies (together, "Abundant Solar Power", "we", "us", or "our") handle your information. This Abundant Solar Power Privacy Policy (the "Privacy Policy") applies to the information that we collect and process about users of our Services, and those who communicate with us about our Services, interact with us on social media, attend our events, participate in our surveys, contests and promotions, or are subscribed to our marketing and informational communications (the "Interactions"). In this Privacy Policy, "Services" means:

  • Abundant Solar Power websites that link to this Privacy Policy, including any versions optimized for viewing on a mobile device (the "Sites"),
  • Abundant Solar Power mobile and landowner applications (each an "App"),
  • the features and services available through our Sites and Apps, including landowner leasing inquiries, community engagement tools, and investor information.

We have established this Privacy Policy to let you know the kinds of information we may gather during your use of the Services and related other Interactions, how we use your information, when we might disclose your information, and your rights and choices regarding your information that we collect and process.

The Information We Collect

We collect information related to our Services and Interactions directly from users, automatically related to their use of the Services and our Interactions, as well as from third parties. We may combine the information we collect from these various sources.

Information You Provide to Us. We collect information directly from users in connection with activities such as:

  • Submitting a land-leasing inquiry or other contact form on our Sites
  • Registering for community open houses, project briefings, or investor events
  • Signing up to receive alerts, project updates, or investor communications via email
  • Submitting an application or resume to work at Abundant Solar Power
  • Customer service, landowner relations, technical support, and related communications
  • Participation in surveys, public consultations, and other community feedback channels

The types of information we collect directly from you include: your name, e-mail address, phone number, postal address, property location and approximate acreage (for leasing inquiries), organization, communications preferences, and any other information you submit through the Services or otherwise provide to us.

Automatically Collected Information. We also collect information through automated and technical means as you browse our Sites or otherwise use the Services. This may include IP address, device identifiers, browser type and version, operating system, referring and exit pages, dates and times you access our Services, and the pages or features you interact with.

Information We Collect From Third Party Sources. In limited cases, we may receive information from business partners, public registries, mapping and geocoding providers, and analytics providers to help us verify landowner inquiries, evaluate project sites, and improve the Services.

Use and Processing of Information

We generally use the information we collect from and about you to respond to leasing and community inquiries, evaluate potential project sites, communicate with landowners and host communities, send investor and project updates you have requested, operate and improve our Services, protect our rights and those of others, and comply with our legal obligations.

Disclosure of Your Information

We disclose the information we collect in the following ways:

  • Affiliates and Subsidiaries. Among our affiliated and subsidiary companies in furtherance of the purposes set out in this Policy; their use of your information is subject to this Privacy Policy.
  • Project Partners. Where relevant to a specific project — for example, engineering, environmental, legal, and construction partners working on a solar or battery-storage development that may affect your property or community.
  • Third-Party Service Providers. We use a variety of third-party service providers that perform functions on our behalf, such as hosting, email delivery, content management, analytics, customer service, and fraud protection.
  • General Business Operations. Where necessary to the administration of our general business, accounting, record keeping, and legal functions.
  • Legal Compliance and Protection of Rights. We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with legal process, respond to lawful requests from public authorities, establish or defend our rights, or protect the safety of any person.

Third-Party Services Currently in Use

Hosting and Backend — Lovable Cloud. Our Sites are built and hosted on Lovable, which provisions managed backend infrastructure on our behalf. Information you submit through our Sites, including leasing inquiries, contact form submissions, and content displayed on our pages, is transmitted to and stored in databases and storage operated by Lovable on Abundant Solar Power's instructions and in accordance with applicable data-protection law.

Use of Cookies and Other Online Tracking Technologies

Like most websites, we use cookies and similar technologies (such as web beacons and log files) to operate our Sites, remember your preferences, gather information about how the Services are used, and measure the performance of our content.

Cookies. These are small text files that a website transfers to your device's storage for record-keeping purposes. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually change your browser settings to decline cookies if you prefer.

Analytics. We may use privacy-respecting analytics tools to understand aggregate site usage and improve the Services. If and when third-party analytics services are deployed, they will be disclosed in this policy.

Abundant Solar Power develops projects across North America and works with affiliates, service providers, and partners in multiple jurisdictions. As such, your information may be transferred, accessed, stored, and otherwise processed by us and these third parties for the purposes described above, in jurisdictions outside of your home jurisdiction, including Canada and the United States. Some of these jurisdictions may not provide an equivalent level of data protection as your home jurisdiction. By providing us with your information, you acknowledge any such transfer, storage, or use.

Third Party Links and Services

The Services may contain links to third-party websites, including social media platforms and project partner sites. If you choose to use these sites or features, your information may be disclosed to those third parties and, depending on how their services function, to their users and the public. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those websites or services.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in the law, our data collection and use practices, the features of our Services, or advances in technology. We will make the revised Privacy Policy accessible through the Services and update the "Last Updated" date. Your Choices

You may opt out of marketing communications from Abundant Solar Power at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by emailing us at info@powerbankcorp.com. Please note that we may continue to send non-promotional communications such as transactional messages, project updates relevant to a property you own, and important notices.

Access and Data Subject Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, request correction or deletion of, and object to our use of your information. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)

If we ever share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, you may opt out by emailing info@powerbankcorp.com or by sending a Global Privacy Control signal, which we honor.
  • Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information. You have the right to limit our use of sensitive personal information to that which is necessary to provide the Services.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

How to Exercise Your Rights. To submit a Right-to-Know, Right-to-Delete, Right-to-Correct, or other CCPA request, please email info@powerbankcorp.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.

Quebec Residents (Law 25)

If you are a resident of Quebec, you have additional rights under An Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Quebec, Law 25):

  • Right to Access and Rectification. You have the right to access personal information Abundant Solar Power holds about you and to request that it be corrected if it is inaccurate, incomplete, or ambiguous.
  • Right to Withdraw Consent. You may withdraw consent to the collection, use, or disclosure of your personal information at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice.
  • Right to Data Portability. Where applicable, you may request a copy of the computerized personal information you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used technological format.
  • Automated Decision-Making. Abundant Solar Power does not currently use automated decision-making based solely on automated processing of personal information to make decisions that produce legal effects concerning you. If this changes, we will update this policy and provide the disclosures required by Law 25.
